ACTIVITY OPTIONS ... The PG Version

Well Ladies and Gentlemen...

We are about 18 days away from the festivities, and it's time to choose which show we'd like to attend.  I have personally seen all three, and they are ALL worth the investment.

Please review the options below and respond with your choice of Show and Time no later than Friday, October 4, 2013 so that we can assure availability:

**** PRICING EXPLANATIONS***

"O" and "La Reve" are both water shows which account for the increased price
"Zumanity" has no water, but you may need some after the show.  It's HOT!!!!

***Shameless Plug***

I would more than likely opt for the later show time to allow everyone to join the birthday girl for dinner.  This is upon the assumption that everyone would prefer a later dinner reservation time (around 7 PM).  We will go with the majority.

...Tick tock, tick tock...

The sooner I get everyone's input, the sooner I can get everything booked.

--Each guest will be responsible for their own ticket charges.  Stay tuned for Paypal information once we have chosen a show and showtime.  I will book a block of seats so we can all sit together.

The Votes Are In

I have heard back from a few people, and it appears that the Vdara hotel on the Strip is the best choice for the group.  I still need a head count, so PLEASE let me know whether you want a single deluxe suite on your own or a larger suite to share with  a roomate so I can reserve the room block.  Rates don't last long.  More details to come soon.

OPTION 2

In the rare instance that you aren't "feeling" the house rental idea, I was able to locate another rather reasonable hotel option.  I believe in "balling on a budget".

The Vdara is a condo complex that has been turned into a hotel, and IT'S ON THE STRIP!!

This is a great option because the rooms have kitchens (can you cay bring your own liquor?), and the rooms are large enough for two people to stretch out in without feeling claustrophobic.  If we're lucky, I may be able to talk them into giving us a view of the Bellagio so we can watch the water show from our windows.

So, if two people shared a room, the cost could be about $300 per person for the entire weekend.  Here are some pics of the Vdara Suite (the smaller of the suite choices with a kitchen)

Or... if you wanted to fly solo, they have deluxe suites available (minus the kitchen) which would be about $425 per person for the entire weekend.

***These quotes DO NOT include taxes which can be rather high in Vegas!!***

Yes, I'm detailed... so shoot me!!!  Let me know what you think!  I'm willing to go with the group!!

VEGAS BABY!!!!

What Happens in Vegas...

Well, you know the rest.  What better way to celebrate being 50 and fine than to party in Vegas?

Join me in helping our girl Jovanka bring in the big 5-0 right!

GREAT NEWS!!!  An acquaintance of mine has offered to let us have his 6 bedroom, 3 bath home in a gated community (about 15 minutes from the strip) for $1,000 for the whole weekend!

Check out these pics...

Any decent hotel on the strip (even at group rate) is a minimum of $220 per night (I've checked).  With enough people (at least 5), we could stay the whole weekend for $200 per person.

I haven't seen this house, but I have visited the owner's other (bigger) property, and I can vouch for the cleanliness, etc.  He normally rents this house for $399 per night and above...

This is a deal!!  Are you in??
